How to Read This Catalog
Each class includes two quick indicators:
Format shows how the class will be experienced, and Work Load shows how much outside work to expect.
 
Class Format :
📖 Lecture = Mostly teaching and listening
🛠 Workshop = Teaching plus hands-on practice
💬 Participatory = Discussion and interaction
 
Work Load:
🏋️ Light Load = Little to no outside work
🏋️🏋️ Medium Load = Short reading, reflection, or simple action steps
🏋️🏋️🏋️ Heavy Load = Regular reading, assignments, or preparation

Description:
This class introduces the essential ideas, practices, and relationships that shape a life of apprenticeship to Jesus. A life lived with him at the center of our everyday lives.

Best For:
New and seasoned followers of Jesus who desire to grow practically as apprentices of Jesus and for those who desire to accompany others on their journey with Christ

Description:
Adapted from the book written by Chris Bruno, this class aims to give an overview of the narrative of scripture through 16 key verses. Knowing these key points of scripture can give us a better understanding of how God has worked throughout Biblical history, as well as in our current times

Best For:
This is a great class for both new and seasoned believers who want to better understand the grand narrative of scripture.

Description:
As Christians, we use the term “gospel” a lot. But do we really understand all that it means beyond an elevator pitch that Jesus died for our sins?
The gospel is not only the good news by which we are saved, it is story God is telling that gives meaning to all other stories in the world. It is the lens through which we can see clearly to interpret the world in which we live. We will go beyond canned presentations and learn how to speak fluently the story that God has been telling since the beginning.

Best For:
This class is good for anyone: seekers, new believers, or seasoned followers of Jesus. Anyone wanting to know how the gospel makes sense of the world around us and how to share that with others.

Work Load:
🏋️🏋️ Medium Load: Short readings and simple reflection between sessions.

Description:
The depth of God’s love for us spills over into deep desire for us to KNOW Him deeply! What an awesome gift! As with any relationship, we can get comfortable in our level of knowing and stuck wondering how to have deeper intimacy with God. This class is for anyone who wants to step a bit outside comfortable habits to explore some less common spiritual disciplines, to open our hearts to His Spirit to know Him more.

Best For:
Growing followers and seasoned believers

Bible, notebook/journal, pen (other resources will be suggested)

Description:
“How can you believe the Bible is true?”
“Can Jesus be true for you, but not for me?”
Join us as we tackle these questions and others that every teen should ask and answer!

Teenagers (7th through 12th grade)
